I started my business as a young entrepreneur living in Naples, Florida. Originally from Northeast Wisconsin, I decided that after a few years of living in Florida that I wanted to try out the whole snowbird thing that everybody raves about. I packed my bags and headed back to Wisconsin for the summer of ‘23. The cold moves in, and before I know it, October 2023 is here. It’s nearly time for me to head back to the warm sunshine of Florida, but within the last two weeks of my being in Wisconsin, I won a ticket to the Women in Leadership Conference through the Green Bay Area Moms via Instagram. I was really excited! I had no idea what to expect, but I knew I was eager to learn & be in a room surrounded by women and leaders. I had no idea what I was about to walk into…
October 3rd, 2023 - I walk into the Resch Complex Center by my lonesome, only to quickly realize that I was far from alone. Over 700 women all in ONE room, how amazing. On top of being in a room full of women leaders, I was in a room with some of the most welcoming, kind, and energetic humans I have had the privilege of meeting. I walked out of the Women in Leadership Conference able to make it rain with business cards. The opportunity to hear from such inspiring keynote speakers, then being able to network throughout the event, and choose from breakout sessions is the perfect mix the event needs and has.
NOW… The reason I say the universe knew I was meant to be at the Women in Leadership Conference not once, but TWICE, is because I won yet another free ticket to attend the conference for the second year in a row! During the conference, they had shared some really fun facts about the conference and its history. I remembered because I was really interested. All of the sudden, the MC, Mrs. Quinn Conyers, asked for a volunteer. No one raised their hand. If you recall, my business’s name is The BOLD Marketing Agency. It is called that for a reason; I like to BE BOLD. So I raised my hand. This is where I went on stage in front of 700+ women, and answered a few trivia questions that I got 100% correct, which is where I won a ticket to attend the 2024 WLC.
